The Farm at Trinity Health Ann Arbor launched in 2010 on the 340-acre campus of Trinity Health St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Ann Arbor in Southeastern Michigan. Since then, The Farm has grown into a center for community engagement, connecting people with food and knowledge for better health, building relationships along the way. 

Onsite facilities include hospital community gardens, vegetable and hay production areas, and a wheelchair-accessible hoophouse. A new wash/pack building houses a CSA that will direct over $250,000 in 2022 to the local farms that supply it with fresh produce. Central to The Farm’s mission is bringing fresh food into the community to improve health outcomes. 

With numerous programs running onsite, The Farm at Trinity Health Ann Arbor also partners with community organizations, charities and healthcare providers to advance its mission and extend its reach. In 2021, a second onsite farm started at Trinity Health St. Joseph Mercy Oakland, with other sites planned.
